AMSYS has corporate offices consisting of Sales, Service and Training facilities at 900 Ethan Allen Highway, Ridgefield, CT. The business, founded in 1987, is owned and operated by Edward C. Heere, a Redding, CT resident. Ed is one of the pioneers of the IBM-PC compatible industry, having designed, sourced and imported one of the first IBM compatible PC computer systems in 1982/1983. This was less than two years after IBM introduced the first PC in 1981.
